Who We Are
Homeward Bound Kitty Rescue is a group of caring and concerned individuals who rescue and provide refuge to kittens & cats found abandoned and homeless. These precious souls are lovingly fostered in our homes, and remain with us until adopted. We are dedicated to finding the best-possible, life-time home for each of the kitties entrusted to us.
The care for our foster cats is funded through donations and adoption fees, which cover about half of our expenses; the remainder comes out of our pockets. We promote the spaying and neutering of ALL PETS, and encourage interested individuals to get involved in TNR (Trap/Neuter/Release) of feral cats in their neighborhoods and at their work places.
Adopting A Friend
Please attend one of our Adoption Days to meet our adorable kitties. Visit with our representatives to find out which kitty might be a good match for you. If you make a connection, complete an application form and interview. Upon approval, your kitty is home delivered within a few days. If you are unable to attend one of our Adoption Days, please contact us to make other arrangements.
We request a $75.00 Donation to help cover the costs of rescuing and fostering, which includes:
- Spay / Neuter
- Age-Appropriate Vaccinations
- Adult cats, kittens over 4 months & mothers of our kittens are tested for FeLV & FIV
- Younger orphaned kittens are individually tested for FeLV
- Excellent Health Care during Fostering...... Bathing...... Treatment for Fleas & Ear Mites...... De-worming...... Premium Foods...... Vet Exams & Medical Treatment as Needed

Our Adoption Days are held at Austin-area Petco stores. Please come meet our kitties!
